About Us

I’m originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m in New York through December studying fashion design at the NY Sewing Center. I first learned to sew from my college friend’s mom, who was a seamstress, and later at the Santa Clara Adult School. This year I’ve been taking sewing and quilting classes across the U.S., learning new techniques and connecting with fellow makers. I also volunteer at Repair Cafés in the Bay Area and here in New York, helping people mend and extend the life of their clothes.
